Synopsis

Buku ini merupakan bagian dari materi Keselamatan Pasien dan Kesehatan Kerja dalam Keperawatan (K3 Dalam Keperawatan) yang telah disesuaikan dengan kurikulum AIPNI. Buku ini berisi tentang konsep pemenuhan kebutuhan keselamatan pasien dan kesehatan keselamatan kerja perawat dalam memberikan pelayanan asuhan keperawatan di lingkup fasilitas kesehatan. Adapun pokok bahasan yang dijelaskan meliputi konsep keselamatan pasien, konsep keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3), konsep K3 dalam keperawatan, insiden keselamatan pasien, manajemen risiko dan hazard, pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi, asuhan kepeperawatan pada pasien dengan risiko jatuh, penerapan universal precaution, medication safety, upaya ergonomik, dan penggunaan alat pemadam api ringan (APAR) di rumah sakit. Buku ini dapat dijadikan sebagai pedoman bagi perawat dalam upaya penerapan K3 Dalam Keperawatan untuk menjaga keselamatan pasien dengan memberikan lingkungan pelayanan keperawatan yang aman dari risiko bahaya, sehingga dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kecelakaan kerja di lingkup fasilitas kesehatan.

Nurhayati penulis merupakan dosen pengampu MK Keselamatan Pasien dan Kesehatan Kerja Dalam Keperawatan di Prodi Keperawatan, FIKES, Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu. Setelah menyelesaikan pendidikan Sarjana Keperawatan di UM Bengkulu dan Profesi Ners di UM Surakarta, penulis melanjutkan pendidikan pada program Master of Nursing Science (International Program) di Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. Selain aktifitas mengajar, penulis juga aktif di bidang penelitian keperawatan, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, penulisan karya ilmiah, editor dan reviewer jurnal.
