Biomolekuler merupakan integrasi antar berbagai ilmu terutama biologi dan kimia yang diperlukan oleh setiap individu yang bergerak di bidang kedokteran. Biomolekuler ini penting dalam proses pembelajaran untuk menjadi profesional yang berkompeten. Dengan mempelajari buku ini diharapkan mahasiswa dapat memahami aspek molekuler secara terpadu yang ditujukan untuk menjelaskan berbagai etiologi, patogenesis, dan pemeriksaan penunjang sebagai dasar untuk menegakkan diagnosis, prognosis penyakit dan menyusun rencana terapi.

Abdillah Imron Nasution, merupakan dosen di Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Syiah Kuala, Aceh Indonesia. Menyelesaikan studi master di  Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Indonesia di tahun 2009. Mengasuh ilmu kedokteran dasar dan ilmu kedokteran gigi dasar, kesehatan gigi masyarakat, dan metode penelitian dan memiliki pengalaman mengajar dalam program academic exchange Faculty of Dentistry Department Orthodontic and Oral Maxillofacial Radiology Suleyman Demirel University-Isparta, Turkey dan menyelesaikan risetnya di  Oberlin College Ohio, USA pada anugerah research scholarship Oberlin Shansi
